Knitted tree cosies lining the streets, top street artists throwing up their work onto a bus, lasertag, djs, bands and much much more - Wellington's Cuba Street Carnival offers an enormous amount of entertainment and good times. The fun starts on Friday night, kicked off by a screening of a Marilyn Monroe classic, Some Like It Hot.

During the celebrations, Makeshift's resident confectionery connoisseur, Team Sweet, is selling cupcakes and candies at our favourite gallery and toy boutique, Popup on Ghuznee street. On the menu are vanilla, chocolate, blueberry & maple syrup and banana split cupcakes and the infamous Super Cherry Cherry Choco' Yum-Drops & Mega Nutty Choco Choc Bon Bombs .
