Illustrate 08 looks to be a great group pre-christmas showing of illustration work from the Wellington arts scene. The exhibition is being hosted at Pixel Ink Gallery in Wellington from 15-24 December and they describe it as a "collaborative show featuring visually engaging works including oil, acrylic and water colour paintings, an illustrated skateboard, limited edition digital prints, and more...from both local emerging and established artists and illustrators." The exhibition theme is around figurative and narrative works. Illustrate 08 is set to both a showcase of established talent and an introduction to some new players in the scene. It is also going to be a bit of a taster as some of the artists will be producing solo shows in the new year. Opening night is Monday 15 December from 5.30-7.30pm at Pixel Ink Gallery.
