Auckland-based artist Richard Freestone has a wonderful looking exhibition that opened last week at Seed Gallery in Newmarket. The exhibition of new works, entitled Populaire, looks at creating an intersection between high art and the low-brow of popular culture and runs from August 27 to September 7. Seed has a gallery online but nothing is like getting there in the flesh and checking it out, which you can do by heading to 23a Crowhurst St, Newmarket, Auckland.
