Improv my sunday evening already

Forget about high-end theatre, let's see some rough and ready improvisation - jam style. This Sunday a rag-tag group of improvisers from around Auckland will take the Thirsty Dog (469 K'rd) by storm. Using only their minds, bodies and whatever they can find in between they will create stories which are completely 'off the cuff'.

The show is being put on to give Aucklanders a chance to see some affordable improv which isn't caught up with the idea of competition. The show is completely improvised, which means the performers walk on the stage script-less and ready to go wherever the night takes them. It will be a friendly supportive show in which the players challenge each other to stretch their brains and flex their creative, spontaneous muscles. And all for the audience's pleasure.

It isn't often you get the chance to see a group of improvisers jam it out with the intention of making you smile so make sure you head down to The Thirsty Dog, Sunday 6th March at 7pm.
