Wow, has it been that long already? It seems like ages since we last ventured to Wellington for some art toy goodness. Well, the time has come once more for an journey of grandness and toy lovery.

A piece of art that feels like a friend is very satisfying, and when art is handed to you, transformed from a 2-D print into a 3-D object, it’s even easier to develop that familiar bond. Building your collection of “art friends” is addictive; the vastly growing number of art toy collectors and admirers will attest to that.

Me and Jess tripped down to the capital city last weekend for a fun-filled, mad weekend which was launched with a launch.

Two of the Makeshift crew were fortunate enough to take a trip down to Wellington recently, where they happened on even more fortune when they were met with smiles and witty banter at two of Wellington’s finest boutiques. Lucky for me, I was one of those who took the trip. The boutiques are Madame Fancy Pants and Popup. Both of which I am proud to say are Wellington’s exclusive stockists of Makeshift Magazine Issue #3.

Wellington has fresh copies of Makeshift Magazine #3 'Look!' just begging to go home and entertain you. You can only find copies at these two super sweet boutiques: Madame Fancy Pants(217 Cuba Street) and Popup(57 Ghuznee Street, off Cuba st). There are only a limited number of copies in Wellington at the moment so please get in quick, and remember nothing says merry Christmas to a loved one like a copy of New Zealand's favorite new contributor-based art magazine!
