Camping out at Auckland's Fringe
Makeshift's own Steven Lyons is debuting a brand new improv show, Campfire Improv at Auckland's 1st ever Fringe festival. Improvised camping scenes and stories presented by slightly naive and fairly excitable Campfire Leaders Mark and Steven (played by Mark Scott and Steven Lyons, respectably).
An improvised tasty treat

Hey, Cut To The Chase!
This week Reverend Jellie, a troupe of Improvisers dedicated to bringing improvised theatre to life in front of your eyes, presents Cut To The Chase a new format of improvisation. It is rocking from Thurs 8th - Sat 10th, 7pm at Cross Street Studios, Auckland and should not be missed.
Improv my sunday evening already
Forget about high-end theatre, let's see some rough and ready improvisation - jam style. This Sunday a rag-tag group of improvisers from around Auckland will take the Thirsty Dog (469 K'rd) by storm. Using only their minds, bodies and whatever they can find in between they will create stories which are completely 'off the cuff'.
